CHAPTER D-2 HAS BEEN NAMED REGION D CHAPTER OF THE YEAR!!!
As members of D-2 and the Assistant District Directors for our chapter we were ecstatic to hear that D-2 has been selected as the Region D (Indiana, Ohio & Michigan) CHAPTER OF THE YEAR. We realize that many of you didn’t even realize that this contest exists, so I have included a little history below. At the April gathering we will share more about this honor with everyone. Please join us to celebrate this achievement! We are so proud of the members of D-2 and leadership team of the best chapter in the Region. Next stop…National!
History and Purpose
The Chapter of the Year program was created and designed to stimulate Chapters to strive for excellence within their respective District and Region. Upon doing so, Districts, Regions, and National will recognize and honor those Chapters who have achieved excellent results throughout the year. At the end of each year, each District and Region will review the best of the best and give recognition and honor accordingly. Then prior to Wing Ding, National will review the Region’s Chapter of the Year selections and select one Chapter to receive the honor of GWRRA Chapter of the Year.

Birthdays and Anniversaries
Birthdays and Anniversaries are being reentered into this site. Watch for your dates and let me know if something is incorrect or missing as errors often creep in overnight. (I never make a mistake!)
I will also be retaking members photos for the directory as many of them are only small thumbnails and are also somewhat outdated.

PhotoGalleries
New photos are being added to the Activities and the Members Photo Galleries. The best way to view these photos is with the PicLens option at the top of the gallery. The Slide Show is not working at this time.
The thumbnail images in the Membership Gallery that were salvaged from the old site are too small for good viewing. Larger images have been found for some members and new pictures will be taken for others.
The galleries display the photos in alphabetical order. In order to show the latest activity pictures at the start of the gallery, a cryptic code such as 9zz is used at the start of the label to get the order desired. The older pictures that do not have this label are not displayed in groups as they were taken.
