Winter Rendezvous Preregistration

We will be extending the Pre-Registration Deadline to February 1st 2012. If you have submitted a full registration with the larger amount, we will refund the difference in your packet.We have sold out of rooms at the Windham, but they will still extend the lower room rates for the time being. We are still awaiting their response in adding new rooms to the existing contract. So reserve ASAP to keep the fees low.Also please note that we did not receive enough Rally Shirt orders to make the minimum order. We will be refunding those orders as well with the registration packets.

Region Traveling Trophy

On 1/12/12, we (myself, Chip, Arnie, Joyce, Jim, Rita, Chris & Mike) successfully got the GWRRA Region D Travel Plaque from GWRRA Michigan Chapter D2, the “Howell Wings.” Rob Robinson, MI D2′s C.D., was a very gracious host.

Our retrieval of the Plaque was not without a challenge – GWRRA Ohio Chapter S, “Great Lakes Wings,” from Fremont, OH, also came to Howell for the Plaque. After several frantic calculations, it was confirmed that we (Johnny Appleseed Wings) had indeed traveled the longest “out-of-state” distance. Plus, there were 8 of us and only 5 Chapter S members.

Also, 6 members of GWRRA Michigan Chapter J-2, “Shamrock Wings,” from Clare, MI came to Howell to get the GWRRA Michigan District Travel Plaque.

So 3 GWRRA chapters (one each from Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan) visited Michigan D2 that night.

Our Indiana group also made it safely back home through the snow.
